Quite a sensation in the ornithological world, a Franklin's gull, Leucophaeus (Larus) pipixcan, who normally lives at the east of the Rocky Mountains between Alberta (Canada) and North Dakota (USA) has been observed on the lake of Neuchâtel in Switzerland, yesterday and today. She's travelled some 7000 km.
